The ranch is located 45 minutes west of Salt Lake International Airport.  Follow I-80 west toward Tooele about 15 miles.  You will exit at Lake Point onto Highway 36.  Follow Highway 36 approximately 20 miles until you pass the town of Rush Valley.  You will turn right on Highway 199 and follow that road about 5 miles until you see the Royal Creek Ranches entrance.

YES! We do take overnight reservations in one of our 6 rustic refurbished cabins or 23 sheep camps. Call our office 435-841-1345 to make reservations.

The sheep camps sleep 2 people in a queen bed.  The refurbished cabins sleep 4-8 depending on which one you choose.

The Elk Ranch is a 23 minute helicopter ride or a 2 hour drive from Royal Creek Ranches. We can arrange that transportation for you depending on which you prefer.

Utah licenses are included with your hunt.  You do not need to purchase them ahead of time.

We are 45 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City.  There is anything from sporting events, shopping malls, theaters, concerts and plenty of delicious restaurants.  There are several bars, however no casinos since gambling in Utah is not permitted.

Due to our excellent habitat, the birds stay close to the farm.  WITH OUR HIGHLY EXPERIENCED GUIDES, PLUS GREAT GUN-DOGS  most hunters harvest 90% of the birds stocked. THIS IS REAL HUNTING so weather and your shooting skills ==PLAY A BIG PART IN HUNT HARVEST AS WELL.   Our guides will make every effort possible to get you shooting at every bird.  ALSO NOTE, BIRDS MISSED BY OTHER HUNTERS CAN BE TAKEN BY YOU FREE, NO BAG LIMIT HERE!

Each hunter should bring walking boots and normal outdoor wear.  Hunter Orange is required, a vest and hat.   We have orange caps and vests in case you didn’t bring yours.  Walking is in native grass and milo.  Basic field hunting cover.  Brush pants not needed.    Shotguns can be un-plugged here.  Ice Chest to take the birds home is a good idea.  We dress all the birds and place in freezer bags for you.   Advise any shotgun if a 12 ga. for the field hunts.  For the European shoots we highly advise auto-loaders and take the plugs out.  Note, no shot larger than #6 is allowed, for safety reasons.  ALL HUNTERS GETTING LICENSES AT OUR OFFICE MUST BRING THEIR SS NUMBER!
